It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the IEEE International Workshop on Arabic Script Analysis and Recognition (ASAR 2017), which will be hosted by LORIA laboratory (University Lorraine, France), in collaboration with the REGIM-Lab. (University of Sfax, Tunisia), and will be held in Nancy (France) from April 3-5, 2017.
ASAR 2017 is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Region 8, IEEE France section, IEEE Tunisia section, and IAPR.
The IEEE ASAR 2017 workshop provides an excellent opportunity for researchers and practitioners at all levels of experience to meet colleagues and to share new ideas and knowledge about Arabic script document analysis and recognition methods. The workshop enjoys strong participation from researchers in both industry and academia.

The International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT'2017) is a forum for scientists, engineers, and practitioners to present their latest research, results, ideas, developments, and applications in all areas of information technology. ACIT’2017 will include presentations to contributed papers and state-of-the-art lectures by invited keynote speakers. Tutorials on current issues and special sessions on new trends related to information technology and software industry could be organized. This conference is considered the official scientific conference for the Colleges of Computer and Information Society, stemming from the Association of Arab Universities. The permanent General Secretariat of ACIT is hosted by Zarqa University, Zarqa, Jordan.ACIT’2017 will be organized by Zarqa University, Sfax University and Federal Association of Scientific Research, Technology and Information “FIRST”. At this ACIT edition, Hackaton will be organized at the last day “Training and competition” in order to evaluate the performance of Android applications.
LOCATION
ACIT'2017 will be held at Yassmine Hammamet, a very beautiful town located on the northern peninsula of Cape Bon. It sits on the edge of the Gulf of Hammamet and is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea. Yassmine Hammamet is best known for its wide sandy beaches and water sports, and the city was actually the first tourist attraction in Tunisia.
Yassmine Hammamet is less than one hour from the capital Tunis and its Carthage International Airport and has become a favored touristic destination. The place has everything other than its stunning beach and its good climate; it has a beautiful and charming Medina, hotels of all classes, good restaurants and many options for daytrips.

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS
Researchers should submit a full paper describing their work, maximum of 8 single-spaced double column pages that also include illustrations. The first page should include the paper title, a brief abstract, a set of keywords, and text. Be sure not to include the authors' names in your paper. The abstract should be concise and not longer than 250 words. Immediately following the abstract, no more than six keywords are to be supplied for subject indexing. Keywords should not simply be taken from the title of the paper, but should be representative of the content of the whole paper and characteristic of the terminology used within the particular field of study. The introduction of the paper must be clearly written and should explain the nature of the problem, previous work, purpose and the contribution of the paper. The introduction is assigned number “1”, and following sections are assigned numbers as needed. A conclusion section must be included and should indicate clearly the advantages, limitations, possible applications, and future work. The references section is not assigned a number. References should be numbered in alphabetical order by the first author’s last name. Citations in the text should be by number and enclosed in square brackets, e.g. [1].Electronic submission of papers as Microsoft’s Word document or PDF via ACIT OpenConf is a must. We would like to inform that DepCoS'2017 paper submission deadline is now extended to
Sunday, January 22nd
after numerous requests expressed by prospective authors. The papers can be uploaded via our webpage up to that date.
Let us also remind that all submissions accepted after peer-review evaluation procedure will be included in the proceedings which we plan to publish in Springer's "Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing" series (AISC) which is indexed in Thomson Reuters Web of Science - and we are pleased to confirm that all 2011-15 DepCoS proceedings are already present in WoS. According to the regulations from Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education conference publication indexed in WoS currently evaluates to 15 points.
You are kindly invited to submit a paper and actively take part in our event!

To propose your paper please prepare it according to the "DepCoS AISC" format using an author kit which is available at the web page:

COST
The single conference fee will amount to approx. 640 Euro and will cover accommodation with full board for 4 days in Brunow Palace (including also free access to the Palace spa facilities), one paper copy of conference proceedings, participation in a banquet and in all other conference events. Those who have participated in the previous DepCoS events are eligible for a discount of 20, 35 or 50 Euro depending on number of events they attended (3-4, 5 or 6).

L'entreposage et l'analyse des données sont les composants essentiels des systèmes d'information décisionnels. L'informatique décisionnelle (Business Intelligence) se heurte de nos jours à plusieurs progrès scientifiques et technologiques. La prise de décision dans le domaine informatique repose sur l'exploitation de plusieurs ressources de données hétérogènes, fortement évolutives et distribuées. Les différents types de données (stream, open, linked, etc.) doivent s'harmoniser avec les nouvelles technologies, architectures et infrastructures informatiques (Web de données, Cloud computing, etc.) afin de pouvoir prendre en charge les volumes croissants des données massives (Big Data). L'évolution technologique ainsi que la masse explosive des données évoquent de nouveaux défis scientifiques. Ces défis nécessitent la proposition de nouvelles approches pour la modélisation, l'interrogation, l'optimisation, l'intégration et la sécurisation de données.
La Conférence Maghrébine sur les Avancés des Systèmes Décisionnels (ASD) s'articule autour de cette perspective. La 11ème édition de la conférence ASD (ASD 2017) se tiendra dans la ville de Tabarka (Tunisie) du 27 au 29 avril 2017. L'édition ASD 2017 sera organisée par une jeune équipe de l'Université de Jendouba (Tunisie). La conférence ASD est un évènement, qui devient habituel, de la communauté des chercheurs francophones travaillant autours des thématiques des systèmes décisionnels. Cette conférence s'adresse également aux industriels et aux professionnels qui s'intéressent au domaine décisionnel et à la Business Intelligence (BI). Ces derniers contribuent par la présentation de systèmes décisionnels concrets, par l'expression des besoins ressentis dans le secteur industriel ou par la mise en valeur de solutions apportées par les chercheurs. La conférence ASD est une opportunité attractive aux doctorants et aux jeunes chercheurs pour présenter leurs travaux de recherche et de nouer des liens avec la communauté.
