Webometrics Ranking of Algerian Universities.

Frères Mentouri Constantine 1 University ranks first at the national level in the Webometrics ranking of universities, followed by USTH and Oran 1 Ahmed Ben Bella University.

The ranking is based on four criteria:

Presence: Size (number of pages) of the main webdomain of the institution. It includes all the subdomains that share the same (central/main) webdomain.
Visibility: Number of external networks (subnets) linking to the institution's webpages (normalized and then average value).
Transparency: Number of papers amongst the top 10% most cited in each one of the 26 disciplines of the full database. Data for the five-year period: 2014-2018.
Excellence: Number of papers amongst the top 10% most cited in each one of the 26 disciplines of the full database. Data for the five-year period: 2014-2018.

Congratulations to the students of Constantine 1 University for achieving second place in the Engineering and Innovation Challenge competition organized by the business accelerator A-venture. The competition involved the participation of 100 students from 15 university institutions.

We extend our gratitude to the participating students from the third year of the Industrial Engineering and Maintenance bachelor's program: Haj Mahnach Zinedine, Meziane Abdelrahman, Matmat Islam, Bourouina Mohamed Amine from the Institute of Applied Sciences and Technologies at Constantine 1 University.

Announcement of the payroll service: it is brought to the attention of the employees and teachers of the faculties, the central library, the general means and the respective registry that the withdrawal of pay slips concerning loans from social works is done directly at the level of the faculties and services concerned, no payslip will be given to the level of the central service except for the staff of the administrative tower, concerning the activation of the CHIFA card it is done directly at the CNAS only with the card without presentation of the salary certificate (ATS).
