What is ACC

The American corner space is a place for students  which plays an important role in the development of their  learning’s level in the various skills: reading, writing, speaking, and interpretation from one language to an other.

The American Corner of Constantine 

The American Corner of Constantine has seen the light, one day in the year 2008 and was baptized, in the 15th of June; the same year, by his Excellency Robert Ford, the Ambassador of the U.S.A. in Algeria, and Professor Abdelhamid Djekoun, Rector of Mentouri University 1.

With the intention of promoting cooperation and understanding between the United States and Algeria, accurate information about the U.S. life style, culture, literature, politics, legislation and contemporary issues is provided and presented regularly through the various activities brought into play from the beginning to the end of the week, namely: The Writing Center, The Graphic Design, The Oprah Winphery Collection, Be Yourself, Kid’s club  and Let’s Start Together sessions.

The American Corner of Constantine, also, put forward a magazine entitled “FUSION” to enhance creativity among the learners and to reinforce communication between them. To facilitate the learning process and make it more enjoyable, the American Corner of Constantine opens the doors of the library, the projection room, and the internet and the reading room. Visibly, for the city of bridges, bridging gaps does not require the slightest effort; it is innate!
